Breakfast is exactly what it says it is. -breaking a fast. It gives your body nutrition, makes your metabolism up and help you start the day with energy. That’s why people say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Then how was your breakfast this morning? How can we change our breakfast healthier?

  1. Eat protein

When it comes to breakfast, bagels, cereals, bread are always there. Swap your high carb breakfast for protein. Eggs, avocado or greek yogurt can be a great protein rich breakfast. Don’t you have enough time in the morning? Then prepare them the night before. Even a pot of hard-boiled eggs can last for a week!

  1. Hydrate Well

It’s essential that you drink at least two glasses of water after you wake up. It will hydrate your body and your kidneys will cleanse toxins. Besides water, make your own smoothie if you drink something more. You can easily get smoothies outside, but nothing can compared to homemade less sugar smoothies. It will be a great replacements for fruit juices.

  1. Add fiber-rich foods

Many whole-grain foods and fruits make excellent fiber-rich breakfast choices. Oatmeal and granola can be good choices, but store-bought granolas can be unhealthy since it contains lots of sugar. What about making your own granola? You can get nutrients you want with simple ingredient. Most of fruits like bananas, berries, oranges, apples and pears are especially not only fiber-rich, but can add better flavor to your breakfast.
