Residential real estate has improved in both sales activity and price across all islands including most of the neighborhoods on Oahu. Residential prices on Oahu have moved beyond the previous high in 2007. The low inventory of homes continues to be the reason behind the higher prices. Here is our opinion with regard to residential housing in 2014:
• Buyers- “As Bo said, just do it.”
• Sellers- “Congratulations, you’re now setting a new high in prices.”
• Builders- “Manage your costs and build smart. Don’t be too overconfident.”
• Investors- “Finding good deals are tough. Be creative with your purchases.”
