A Change of Perspective

A Change of Perspective

There are times where we are fortunate to see things from a different perspective. These are the ah ha moments. Changing our perspective will provide answers where we didn’t see any before. Here are a few ways to obtain a new perspective.

*Think for a change. Most of the time we can get so busy doing what we do that we forget to take the time to think about why we’re doing what we’re doing. Rather than work in your business sometimes you need to work on your business. Look at the view from 10,000 feet. If you don’t like the way things are going find a new norm.

*Look to others for change. Our vision and understanding is limited to what we know and experience. But what if you had the vision and understanding of those who have different backgrounds and areas of expertise? Form a group of peers who can all benefit from sharing of each other’s point of view in a comfortable confidential setting.

*Write down what needs to change. It is likely that we usually have multiple things running through our minds at the same time. Writing things down brings clarity to a change in perspective.

When we change our perspective the world as we know it will change. It just takes a person willing to see things from a different point of view.
