Ala Moana Center will finish up a multi-level 650,000 square-foot expansion the Ewa Wing in November. It will be one of the largest developments in the history of Hawaii’s shopping mall. The project includes a 167,000 square-foot, the first Bloomingdale’s department store in Hawaii and large retailers, dining, entertainment, as well as 200,000 square feet of space for small retailers. In addition, a 186,000 square-foot Nordstrom department store will open in 2016. The center will also have 1,000 new parking stalls in the Mauka Ewa Parking Structure.
The center released the names of merchants that have already signed on to open in Ewa wings including Aqua Blu, Hugo Boss,and Moncler. Additional tenants will be announced in the coming months. This project will enhance the shopping experience for Hawaii residents and visitors.
